A Happy Dance!!!

I have finally finished. It should have been done days ago, but none the less, I am happy. My first finish of 2010. Hopefully the first of many. You may notice something a little different about this picture as opposed to the other pics. My quilter's hair has become brown. This is a gift for my MIL, (whose hair is brown, and not white), I didn't want her to think that this I would only categorize quilters as old grannies with white hair. I like it better this way.
Until my next update,
Happy Stitching,

  1. It looks great! I'm sure you MIL will love it.

  2. Congrats on your finish - the first of many I'm sure! I'm sure your MIL will treasure it.

  3. What a pretty first finish, keep up the stitching. I see you are just over half way, enjoy this time and Be always in stitches.

  4. It's beautiful! Congratulations. Your MIL will love it.

  5. It's beautiful! I especially like how you made the hair brown! Most quilters these days do not have grey hair, or if they do {ahem}, they cover it up ;-)

  6. What a lovely's always good to keep the MIL happy (LOL).
