Well I have been stitching right along at a nice pace and as I moved to the left hand side to stitch, I came to the realization that I have an extra row on the right. Frustrated, I am putting this down for a bit until I can figure a way around this without frogging the whole top. I know it can be done, but how to go about it? Maybe I'll finish the border around the bottom and up the left side a bit just to keep this piece going tonight. Wish me luck.
Happy Stitching,
Hillery
Gosh, that is so frustrating!! I hope you figure out a way to compensate so you don't have to frog! She sure is coming along beautifully!
ReplyDeleteGood luck!
Ohhh I hate it when I find I am one stitch off! I am sure you can figure out a way to work it in somehow. She looks great though!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, how maddening. Isn't there some way that you could fudge around it. The piece has so much going on that I don't know if anyone would notice it. I'm not exactly sure where it is in the overall design. But then again, if you're like me, it would drive me crazy because I would now where it is.
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. I thought I would come and visit you this morning...and was sorry to hear about the extra row. I know how that feels! Sometimes it is possible to work it in - for remember the rest of us looking at your beautiful design aren't aware of 'slip-ups'. After looking back through earlier posts, it looks like you have put a lot of time in this piece and it is really coming a long. Take the time you need to determine the best way to approach the the problem, and then attack it and move on. It is coming along beautifully!
ReplyDeleteI have so many mistakes in some of my miras that I could almost call them originals!
ReplyDeleteWhen I find out I have a mistake like this I will stitch the body and face and then fudge in the background or dress. If that helps at all! LOL
Oh no!!!! Do you know where you are one stitch off?
ReplyDeleteThat stinks! What did you end up doing to fix it?
